“Pediatric dentistry has held a special place in my heart ever since graduating from dental hygiene school in 2013 when I began working with Dr. Jenkins! I love gaining a child’s trust and building relationships with the entire family. I never take for granted the immense responsibility and opportunity I have to impact a child in a positive way. As a mom of two boys, I love when parents recognize that I care about their child as my own and I always go the extra mile for each unique child.”

“I have worked in pediatric dentistry since graduation from dental hygiene school in 2019. I have always enjoyed working with kids and getting to see them grow over time. My favorite part about pediatric dentistry is the variety that each child brings to the table. I love being able to provide children with the environment and comfort that they need to have a successful dental visit – whatever that may mean for them.”

“I fell in love with pediatric dentistry the minute I started it! I love creating an environment where kids get excited for their dental visits! Nothing warms my heart more than when parents let us know their children literally cheered when they told them they had a dentist appointment that day.”

Hannah Ross, RDH

“I have worked in pediatric dentistry since my graduation from dental hygiene school in 2013. Since I haven’t worked in general dentistry, I can’t necessarily compare the two, but I can tell you this – I can guarantee they don’t have near as much fun as we do!! Working in pediatrics brings an energy and unpredictability to my days that I love so much. The kids keep us on our toes and keep us laughing, which helps us take life a little less seriously. I absolutely love the fun chit chat with the kiddos and their families, but I also strive to build trusting relationships with them. I find it so rewarding to build a child’s confidence in us, and to transform an anxious child and make them excited to come back for future visits. I love working with children and laying a positive foundation for dental experiences to come. I strongly believe that these experiences, alongside helping them form healthy habits at home, can help shape them into adults who actually ENJOY going to the dentist.”
